This morning, the campers woke up to such a beautiful day! As we cleaned our cabins and prepared for the day, we looked forward to what the day had to offer. Breakfast was a fabulous meal of coffee cake and baked oatmeal, and the weather continued to be delightful as the campers walked up the hill to chapel. Corrina G. had a wonderful message to share. After chapel the campers had their first tribal meetings of Session 3B where they talked about personal points and learned new camp songs! Also this morning, Happy Hollow took a cabin trip! During classes today Olivia B. got her gold in Mountain Biking, Lucy J. got her gold in Volleyball, Sophia N. got her gold in Guitar, and Carlin S. got her gold in Swimming! Congratulations! Activities at camp are such a great way for campers to experience growth and adventure! In pottery, Lindsay J. and Amelia “Wolf” W. worked on finishing their projects to be glazed next week, and in cooking the campers got to make yummy scones! For lunch we had a camp favorite of mini corn dogs and mac and cheese! At lunch it was announced that lower camp was playing Color Wars, and upper camp was playing Volleyball! After a relaxing rest time, the campers went back to their last activities of the day looking forward to the games they are playing tonight. Dinner was an amazing meal of tortellini with chocolate chip cookies for dessert. The campers are finishing this fun-filled day with exciting evening activities, and as I sit and write this, I can hear them cheering for their tribes! Thank you so much for sharing your girls with us this summer! I have loved getting to spend time with all of these amazing people!
