It was another fabulous day at Merri-Mac! We started our day with a hearty breakfast of waffles and sausage patties. After the girls slurped all the syrup off of their plates, they headed to spend some quality time as cabins before saying goodbye to our wonderful 3A campers. We were so sad to see these campers depart our haven, but rejoiced in the fact that we had a fantastic two weeks together. The remaining campers then headed down the hill to pick up their sack lunches with grilled chicken sandwiches and kettle corn. Afterwards, they headed towards rest time and tray-po! After scarfing down their treats delivered by our CIT’s, the girls headed toward activity time as cabins. They were excited as they got extra time on the riflery range, climbing wall, and many other camp classics. After two activity periods, the girls raced down the hill for a dinner of delicious pizza and salad with ice cream sandwiches for dessert! Dinner was followed by cabin night as our evening activity. Some cabins enjoyed a spa night while others got to free swim in Lake Doris. We had such a memorable 3A session and can’t wait to see what lies ahead these next two weeks.
