What a summer we have had! This morning, campers woke up and made their way down in their tribal jerseys to the Tucker Inn for their last camp breakfast of the summer- waffle sticks! After breakfast, the girls sang some camp songs. They cleaned up and got ready for the closing ceremony to begin.

The campers were excited to see their families, but not ready for camp to be over! After the counselors sang songs to the parents, the honor campers in each cabin were announced, and the counselors announced who the most improved and most outstanding were in their activities. Next, the chiefs from each tribe said a few words and recognized their med-man and braves. Then, it was time to announce the new spirits and princess. The new spirits and princess are: Sportsmanship: Virginia C. Good cheer: Gracie R. Princess: Caroline K.

As the ceremony came to a close, it was time to announce who won the banner. Drumroll please… CHOCTAW!! Choctaw won the banner to finish off the summer! All the girls in this tribe jumped up with glee, screaming at the top of their lungs. Choctaw ran out of The Mike, down the hill to ring the bell to announce their victory!

After the girls had finished celebrating, parents and friends came down the hill for an amazing lunch made by our kitchen staff. Everyone was grabbing last minute pictures with their friends and laughing with each other. The day was truly beautiful.

Overall, camp has been amazing this summer! We have been so blessed to meet all the girls who came to Merri-Mac. On behalf of the staff, we want to say a BIG thank you to all you parents investing your girls into this camp. We have made so many memories. Your girls are so precious and we have been thrilled meeting every single one. We also want to say a HUGE thank you to Adam and Ann. This camp would not have been spectacular without having such amazing camp directors. Thank you all for a summer not to forget!

We wish you the best and we will see you all next summer!
