‘Twas the day before Tribefest and all through Merri-Mac, not a creature was stirring, not even a Tweedle . . . until Reveille went off and another day began at camp! The day started with a camp favorite, breakfast pizza. Sadie spoke in chapel about how Jesus is a friend to all. After chapel, the campers hurried off  to their activities where they tried out for Swimfest, bathed puppies, earned bars.

The kitchen staff cooked another winner meal for lunch: Stromboli with cookie on a stick for dessert. Sunnyside girls began the song to call out kitchen staff to thank them. After lunch the campers and staff anxiously awaited to find out the winner of America Color Wars and the evening activity. The campers booed and the staff cheered when EP announced that staff dominated America Color Wars. The staff will be awarded with Cheerwine, as opposed to having to do the chores of the winning camper team. But all was well when the campers found out that Cabin Night was the evening activity. The campers then scurried off to their beds for rest hour to dream of Trading Post and what their cabin will do for Cabin Night.

As the day progressed, the activities continued with ariels in gymnastics, horseback riding around camp, rolls in kayaking, and cooking delicious monkey bread. Camp finished the day with fajitas for dinner and then various cabin activities including raiding Trading Post, dance parties, camping out, and laser tag. This evening activity is a favorite for all because it is a time for campers and counselors alike to love each other and deepen community here at camp. All in all, it was another perfect day at the greatest place on earth!
