One Week Camp

Our one week camp is designed for families who would like to introduce their girls to Merri-Mac but who do not feel ready for a traditional two week camp experience. Starter campers are initiated into their Indian tribes, join their fellow campers in competing for the banner, are introduced to camp skills and activities and begin making connections with our camp traditions. While there are some skill programs that we are not able to offer in the six day starter camp, it is long enough to serve as an exciting beginning for their years as a Merri-Mac camper.

By the end of the session most of our starter campers wish they had enrolled for a longer stay than the one week camp, which is our goal exactly. They drive away from camp having developed a new, healthy sense of independence and ready to be a part of a longer session.
Izzy loved all the activities. She loved the Sock War! Her tribe, Choctaw, won and got to go the to the ice cream parlor! She loved being able to interact with the older campers too. She absolutely loved everything. Monroe, GA
