Session Length

Children make friends and become campers very quickly.  But seeing growth, especially in their activity skills, takes a little more time.  There are just no short cuts to learning a posting trot, or a round-off back handspring.  And these sorts of milestones become important markers of growth for camp aged children.  Because of this we recommend at least two weeks for first year girls.

What about 1 week?  Most of our campers are ready for two, but we also understand that many parents are not!  This is why we offer a Short Term session.  It allows families to give camp a try, building confidence to come longer the next summer.

Enrolling a Camper

The best way to get the ball rolling is to apply on line.  You can also download a printable camp application and mail it to camp if that is more convenient.

What Happens Then?

You will receive an email confirmation letting you know we received your application.  If we are able to enroll your child you will receive another email saying we have charged their deposit, followed up by an acceptance letter from camp.

After that you will not hear much from camp until we send you your camper packet in the spring.  This will be a big document and will have all the information you need to get ready for camp.

Availability and Wait Lists

Camp generally fills early, though we often have spots come open as families’ plans change.  If the session you chose is full you will receive an email letting you know and outlining other options.  Often girls will enroll in a session that will work for them while remaining on a wait list for a session they prefer.
